How awesome would it be if we can translate /transcribe in a second native language of choice. For example EN>Dutch or Dutch>En etc...

I definitely support that idea, Joanna! I am looking forward to adding French transcriptions first. I have a client lined up for it, who can't wait to get started transcribing live training workshops they have been recording for the past 3 years! AI translation would be amazing, however, in my experience not usable just yet for technical, more complex language formulations or more subtle topics.

Paul, could you share more about the implementation timeline for transcription in other languages and what languages you have lined up?

Re Translation.. how does Google translate perform on translation tasks?

Paul Bannister: my experience is that 'it is not perfect and requires editing mainly in grammar.

Hi Joanna, we're planning on adding more languages for transcription for sure. As for translation, I'm not sure the AI is quite there yet...but its an interesting idea: "Take an audio file and turn it into an ebook in 3 different languages"...mmm...
